Demo Version/ Pattern Viewer
With this FREE working demo version of WinStitch 2010, you can open, view, and print the sample charts supplied, and any free charts from the Ursa Software web site.
You will be able to open and print .PAT files from PCStitch versions 4 to 7 (some of which are marked as read only)
Using the demo , you will be able to try out all the facilities of the program, but you will not be able to save your work. You can print any of the sample charts supplied, as long as they have not been amended.
Installation:
Click the icon below to download the file winstitchdemo.exe
You will be asked to SAVE or RUN the file.
If you save the file, double click it to run it after downloading.
If you are using Vista or Windows 7:
you may be asked to confirm that the file is OK to run.
Our downloads are virus free and are safe to install: allow the install to continue.
Icons will be added to your desktop and the Start Menu.
If you have AERO GLASS effects switched on
These desktop effects, while pretty, can seriously slow down the program.
If WinStitch operates slowly for you, please disable AERO effects while running the program.
(Version 6.5 onwards has an option in preferences to allow you to choose)
It is possible to have Windows do this automatically, by changing the properties.
To do this, navigate to the Program Files/WinStitch folder, and right click on WinStitch.exe
Choose Properties.
Then tick the boxes shown below (administrator level is not strictly required):
